It’s Halloween! Are you going to transform yourself? I think I may scrawl a letter on my cheek and blacken my eye. Susana Raab understands transformation pretty well. No one captures a gaggle of Colonels or a bladder-relieved superhero better.
Michael Williamson explores the voting habits and fears of folks in Montana in the Washington Post in this photo essay.
Here are my favorite two pictures.

In somewhat related news, if you want to laugh laugh cry, listen to this.
Live from campaigning in Wisconsin:

See them all, here.
I tried, I really tried resisting posting this picture. But I can’t help it; it won’t get out of my head. I first saw it last week, the day after the debate, and I could not. believe. my eyes. I mean, I watched this debate.
I became fascinated with Brad Elterman’s classic rock imagery (and amazing caption-writing) from the ’70s and ’80s at the inception of this blog, and was recently in touch with him about his current activities.
I very, very much wish I had made these images. But Julian Wolkenstein did. And he did it awesomely. Check out the method behind this horsey magic at FStop Magazine.
