Into the Fridge, with Lars Tunbjork.

| More

Part two of fun food photography in the Times includes an online feature that contrasts progressive foodie types with the insides of their refrigerators. The images are shot by one of my favorites, Lars Tunbjork.

And some of the portrait/fridge images are quite telling. These two are hilariously obvious: see if you can match them up.

I bet you got it right.

Here’s another ten-thousand-dollar question:

Why does the word “fridge” have a d, while “refrigerator” does not? Life, it’s so perplexing.

  1. Fridge comes from Frigidaire (the biggest maker of refrigerators by far back in the day), not from refrigerator.
