I’ve broken out the Canon 20d, imperfect as it is. There is plenty of solid Obama hope around here, but also some serious vitriol. Here’s the latest propaganda that’s being stuck to mailboxes here, under the guise of the Obama campaign’s seal.
It gives me the shivers.
The man who brought this flyer in was an older Democrat. He thought it was absolutely real.

I boy I hope they investigate this right after they get done investigating all the voter fraud from ACORN. This compared to the 200,000 fake registrations is just such an outrage!
Fred, the fake registrations were fraud against ACORN, and no one else. Furthermore, ACORN indicated the fraudulent registration when they were submitted. I thought Boing Boing readers tended to be well informed.

I hate to break it to you, but blacks in America are pissed off and they are voting for Obama because he is black. Blacks are just as racist as whites if not more so in some parts of our country.
Even if this flyer is fake, you are naive to think that the sentiment isn’t real. Get off your white guilt imposed high horse and admit that this could have actually been passed out by a disenfranchised black voter for Obama.

It’s fake, Tennessee, because the Democratic Party does not refer to Obama as BHO II, and because it is clearly intended to frighten ignorant white people rather than to motivate African Americans to vote. You seem to indicate it may be working.

Because the Obama campaign never refers to him as “Barack Hussein Obama II,” nor do any Democrats. The only people who habitually refer to him using his middle name are Republicans and right-wingers.
This is what comes from never leaving your little echo chamber — you don’t realize that the way you and your friends refer to Obama is not the way everyone else does, so you end up looking like a fool in public.
