As the Globe Turns: 20×200 Revealed!
Ohh, it’s about that time, I do believe. It’s 2pm on Wednesday and I can tell you all about my 20×200.
But first! The backstory.
This one may give it away- I’m not sure. Printer Eric Recktenwald was awfully patient with me– this was the first time I did not make my own prints, and I was a bit…difficult discerning.
Someone should teach a class on how to tell a printer what you want- I kept saying things like “this looks a little disney-esque, you know?” No, he did not know.
Anyhoo- I think they look pretty all lined up on my table like this.

I numbered them, to show the progression, or really, just for fun.
I happen to be at the scene of the photo right now (Mom and Dr. Ken’s house)- so I took an iphone shot last night in honor of the edition.
How Duane Michals is this?! Right?

Also, a shot of me and my subject, RIGHT NOW.

And now…. drumroll etc….
The Picture!
And NOW!!! THE Edition!!!!
I made a mockup so you can see what Globe would look like in your house. It is exact and true to life.

Go forth and purchase, if this pleases you and you are able! I thank you so much!

I always liked that photo of the globe and I like it even more after reading about it on 20×200. I just so happens that there is a similar old globe sitting in my parents house that used to belong to my uncle. I remember being fascinated by it as a child. I still love it. Especially since it’s old enough to have shipping lines marked out on it with estimates for the duration of the voyage. I do realise I’m rambling on here…. Congratulations on the edition!
