-The Red Cross:
text “HAITI” to “90999″ and $10 will be given automatically to the Red Cross and charged to your cell phone bill. This is confirmed on www.state.gov.

  3. I read that it was going to take over three months for the money collected by the text messages to get to Haiti because the carriers want to wait until people pay their bills, but Sprint and Verizon just announced they are sending the money right away!
