Things are progressing swimmingly over at TPP; people are saying nice things and lots of images are popping up on the feed and grabbing my attention which is just terrible for my productivity beautiful.
On a side note: create your own photo gifts with your photography and wow your friends.

Here’s my favorite new-to-me image from yesterday, by Christian Patterson. It’s called Tree on Fire and I found it on the site manymany.
I also think this is a good time to post a T Magazine cover from 2005.

See a whole bunch of covers, here. I enjoy a trove.
I also enjoy the work of Jody Rogac, also new to me. Jody is a recent transplant out of Vancouver. I like that many of her models turn away from the camera.

your hair is spectacular.

Did you see Pictory Mag today? Excellent stuff. About the one who got away.

The minute I stepped off the bus and into Washington Heights, we were no longer just close friends. We ran down the streets at night, drank wine in the park, took in musicals, and marveled at museums. The city was alive all around us; I had never been so happy. This magical week turned into months of distance. Things had been easier when we were friends. I chastised myself: I never should have visited, and I never should have gone back. Sometimes you fall in love with a city instead of the person in it. -Johanna Fulk
Finally, here’s a James Pomerantz shot from Debra Klomp and Darren Ching’s great interview in At Length Magazine. You just can’t argue with that picture.
aand here’s some French Chef and lobsters. Just because I like you so much.
Bon Appétit!

Brilliant photography. Just brilliant. Each of them are just stunning but my favorite I would say is the first photo because it reminds me of the burning bush… Special mention is the 8th image, black and white, a man behind a glass with the reflection. Maybe because the man looks a lot like my husband.

Wow, These sound interesting. Thanks!
I love the tree on fire image. I need a shot like that in my port. I am trying to figure out what the guy on the beach is doing. My best guess is that he’s coating himself in some sort of oil that will act as an insulator before a swim across the English Channel? Ideas?
The Julia Child video cracks me up. I thought she was gonna cut open a live lobster, but she just tossed them in the pot head first instead, and then weighted the pot so they couldn’t get out…I cracked up.
