The celebrities were quiet on the wires this morning; just some bits and bobs about the Jersey Shore cast and Jessica Simpson’s ferocious sexual appetite. Tina Fey DOES have an adorable mini-me, so that’s something.
But the big celebrity news around here is that I shot one! For the first time! For Exit Zero! And no one got hurt. Here is my favorite outtake. You can guess who it is, though you’ll never ever get it right.
Unless you read the file name.
In other news, I eat eggs most days for breakfast. I am even eating one as we speak. I enjoy eggs poached or fried, and always sunny side up. Sometimes I add pesto and truffle oil, and if I’m very hungry I’ll put them over beans. Sometimes I put them over a chicken drumstick.
Here are some eggs from my past.

My egg preparation is scientific and satisfying, and much more considered than any other meal. It is perhaps for this reason that I very much like Oliver Schwarzwald‘s breakfast series, shot for the magazine Feld Hommes.

I would like to eat breakfast the Russian way. You?

I think I know what I’m having for breakfast this morning. Nice photos Rachel as well as Oliver’s.
whoa! i’ve never eaten any brekfast close to that swedish one in my life. no herring and hardbred with black coffee in the morning for me. i would go for the american!
Congrats on photographing a celebrity! That’s very exciting. And yes, I read the file name to see who it was you took a picture of.
Lovely food photos, by the way. I love how the sausage is totally defying gravity there!

LOL, I have never quite thought about breakfast like that. It makes our choices of food look so silly and reminds us at the same time we’re all the same. Another thing this made me realize is how colorful our breakfast is! Amazing collection, thanks for the stomach grumble.
I like the France idea. Either that or the UK…franks and beans for breakfast? Count me in.
