Glowing Eyes in the Night…. “It’s killing me, seriously.”

| More

My buddy Anthony Georgis emailed me today with a quandary and a game of “who is that photographer” ensued.

I get this a lot, ie:

Who is that photographer who takes pictures of flocks of birds in black and white?

Who is that Natural History Museum long exposure guy?

and today:

“Hey Rachel-
So I have this image that I was trying to find, it’s a bunch of deer or something out in the dark, on the road or a field or something. It’s really erie and they have weird glowing eyes.”

And then Anthony said:It’s killing me, seriously.”

Oh No! Anthony musn’t die!!!

Yeah, so it wasn’t the cat guy.

But it WAS Peter Sutherland. Twitter helped us, and reminded us that these two images had once had a famous photo battle over at Amy Stein’s house.

This was particularly timely, because just yesterday I saw that glowing eyes had filtered into the ad world, courtesy of Mark Zibert and Nike.

As a reward for sleuthing, Anthony sent me a bunny picture.
