Rachel Papo’s Perfection.

It doesn’t get much better than Rachel Papo’s project on dancers; I was familiar with her Israeli work, but this is new to me and I love it. Probably because it’s like Center Stage but real.

I saw Daniel Gordon’s flying pictures when I worked in the admissions office at ICP, and then not again for years. He went to Yale instead, you see.

And now he has a book out with a forward by Gregory Crewdson, so I guess he made the correct choice.

I’m like a giddy child when PDN 30 is announced. One trend that stood out in a major way this year was a soft, over-exposed editorial style. Rainbows and chiffon and sunglasses and gauzy, sun-baked models.
