I’m in the editing trenches, and I’m dragging you in here with me. But don’t worry, it’s sunny and sandy, in the best way.
I recently returned from a shoot with the wonderful Exit Zero folks down in Cape May, New Jersey.
My task was to get a visual document of the town. This place is well-rounded; there are Victorian houses, beaches, fudge (a lot of it), awesome pooches, flowers stands, seafoods of every variety, sharks popping off of buildings, and so much more.
I limited myself to sixteen images here, but there are oodles more. I had a fun time playing with Alien Skin filters– Cape May felt like Velvia to me, and I did my best to replicate that.
In any case, have a look!

Maybe I’m too cheap, but I love the dog photos
#11 is great! (shark attack?)
The “CK UP” portrait is beautiful.
#2 is priceless!
Thanks for sharing,
Marc
These are gorgeous and so warm. I used to vacation with my family in Cape May in the summers, and these photos brought me right back. Thanks!
Great atmosphere!
#2, #5, #16 & #17 stand out for me as really good!
Editing is never easy is it. Good luck!
