Phillip Toledano Takes Klompching with “A New Kind of Beauty”.

It’s the start of the gallery school year, and the coolest place to be tonight is surely DUMBO’s Klompching Gallery, where Phillip Toledano is having the first solo exhibition of his project A New Kind of Beauty. The austere portraits are part Vermeer, part futuristic.

Klompching directors Darren and Debra are excited to be hosting the show; here’s what they have to say:

We have admired the work of Phillip Toledano for some time now. When we saw “A New Kind of Beauty,” we were instantly taken by the hauntingly beautiful portraits on many levels, and are absolutely thrilled to present it to the public for the first time as a solo exhibition.

Opening tonight, Wednesday September 8th, 6-8pm
111 Front Street, Suite 206

Hope to see you there!
